Hello!

I’m Leah, a people consultant specializing in workplace communication and team dynamics. I work with executives and teams to foster healthy, engaging workplaces.

I use proprietary frameworks to help untangle issues, navigate often complicated situations, and create actionable paths forward. As the VP of People and Culture at Bumble, I became a third party partner, advisor, and coach to more authentically support the team. I now work with C level executives and HR leaders across multiple industries in an advisory/coaching capacity, and engage with their teams through facilitated workshops.

Prior to Bumble, I was the Executive Director of Internal Development at T3 (now Material) where I worked to integrate the People team into daily business and helped them become trusted advisors to all levels of the organization. As part of a push for development, I also reinvigorated their MBTI practice and I am completing my own master certification.

I began my career in marketing and advertising at start-ups and creative tech companies, holding leadership positions since the early 2000’s. During this time, I formed a love/hate relationship with HR. I made the leap into people operations nearly 20 years ago, with a goal to shift focus from rules and legalities to employee experience and development.

In my current practice, I combine my experience as both an HR and organizational leader with my study of personality and communication to guide leaders through difficult conversations and growth moments. I am passionate about instituting inclusive practices that bring companies into the future of work.

I split my time between Austin, Houston, Tulum, zoom, airport lounges, and the vet.
